We have helped design and evaluate TDM programs and strategies in a variety of institutional and geographic conditions. |
| Transit Planning and Evaluation |
We have performed studies concerning ways to improve public transit, increase ridership, and evaluate the full benefits of various forms of public transit. Our analysis tends to expand the range of impact considered in transit program evaluation. We are often called on to respond to unfair criticisms of transit. |
| Transportation Economic Analysis And Pricing Reforms |
We have performed detailed studies on the benefits, costs, equity impacts and implementation requirements of various transportation pricing reforms, including Pay-As-You-Drive vehicle insurance, parking pricing, tax reforms, and transit fare changes. In several cases this has lead to implementation of the recommended reforms. |
| Parking Management |
We have performed studies and produced recommendations for innovative solutions to parking problems, and more efficient management of parking facilities. |
| Nonmotorized Transportation |
We have helped develop nonmotorized plans and guides that identify practical ways to improve walking and cycling conditions, strategies to encourage more nonmotorized transportation, and we have performed evaluations of the full benefits of walking and cycling. |
| Sustainable Transportation |
We have helped create sustainable transportation plans and indicators in developed and developing countries.
